Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute the Contract between you (the pet owner) and us (All Care Pet Transport Pty Ltd ABN 98 626 896 115) herein called ACPT.

All Care Pet Transport Terms and Conditions for Pet Travel

Age & Health

  • Pets less than 8 weeks will not be accepted for travel.
  • A Fit to Fly certificate (issued within 14 days of departure) will be required if your pet is:
    – 8 – 12 weeks old or over 12 years old
    – Pregnant or has given birth with 48hrs
    – Sedated, sick, injured or recovering from surgery
  • Aggressive dogs will not be accepted

Quarantine and State requirements

  • Dogs (excluding puppies under the age of 12 weeks, returning dogs no more than 14 days in another state and racing greyhounds within 6 days) travelling to Tasmania will require Hydatid Tapeworm treatment within 14 days before entry, with evidence or documentation.
  • For birds, reptiles, livestock and exotic animals, it is the owner’s responsibility to know the arrival state requirements. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain the required Import Permits, Quarantine inspections or any further documentation prior to departure. ACPT will not be held responsible for any outcomes enforced by the governing body due to failure to comply with the state’s requirements.

Travel Crate Requirements

  • If you are providing your own airline approved crate you confirm that it complies with IATA requirements. Crates that are not compliant will not be accepted by the airline. If an emergency crate hire is needed, this will be at the owner’s expense.

Brachycephalic/snub nose Breeds

  • It is recommended that brachycephalic/snub nose pets travel in crates 1 size larger than they would normally travel in.
  • Brachycephalic/snub nose breeds are required to complete a BOAS examination by a registered Veterinarian within 14 days of travel. They must pass this assessment to be accepted for travel. ACPT are not held responsible for the outcome of the assessment.
  • Brachycephalic/snub nose breeds will not be accepted for travel if they are less than 12 weeks or over 7 years.
  • Owners of Brachycephalic/snub nose breeds will be required to complete an additional Terms of Transport and Indemnity form prior to transport.

Emergency Services

  • Any emergency services where ACPT must provide a service, additional costs will be charged to the client.
  • If a client’s own crate is deemed non-compliant/not IATA approved by any Cargo Transport Operator at any stage of travel and ACPT must complete an emergency crate drop, additional cost will be charged to the client.
  • If a pet soils the crate and ACPT are to complete an emergency comfort stop/crate clean, additional costs will be charged to the client.
  • In the event of flight cancellations, flight delays or pet off-loads, ACPT will contact the client as soon as we have been made aware of the issue. If the sender/receiver is non-contactable, ACPT will make alternative arrangements, and the additional costs will be charged to the client.

All Care Pet Transport is not responsible for the following:

  • While the utmost care and attention is given to client’s pets, they are handled with the understanding that ACPT, the kennels, the airline and veterinarian are at no time to be held responsible for loss, death, illness, injury, or accident due to any cause, either natural or accidental.
  • Any fees due to airline delays, cancellation of flights, incorrect routing by airlines, and change of aircraft type or available capacity by airlines. Additional charges for kennelling and extra trips to the airport are at the owner’s expense.
  • Loss of veterinary documents by airlines.
  • Pet Off-loads; the airline has the right to off-load any/all animals on any given flight due to priority freight and passenger freight.

All Care Pet Transport payment and cancellation terms.

  • Full payment to be finalised upon booking. Flights will not be secured without full payment. Payments to be made by credit card or direct deposit.
  • Please note that a charge of 1% is charged on Visa or Mastercard transactions. This charge is applied at the time of payment.
  • Change of flights once booked incur $30.00 charge, including flight cancellations by airline.
  • Booking cancellations will incur a $100.00 charge and any cost incurred to ACPT if within 1 week of travel.
  • Cancellations made on the day of the flight booking, including late lodgements, airline off loads and no-shows will result in the entire amount paid to All Care Pet Transport being forfeited.
  • Your quoted price is based on the weight and measurements provided by you, the owner. Pets will be weighed at the departing port and any additional weight/size cost will be forwarded onto the owner.
